Hey! Here’s a little bit about me!

I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Pre/Postnatal Certified, a Certified Nutrition Coach and Weight Loss Specialist.

Hey there! It’s me, the girl behind Sassy Brunette Fitness - Kelsey Willey.

I am a wife to a storm chaser (okay, he’s really a hail tech but he does chase where the hail goes), a momma of two, Brayden and Raelynn, a full-time health + fitness coach and wannabe murder mystery writer.

I’m a 32-year-old, God-loving woman just trying to live life fully as the confident, energetic, lights-up-a-room ME and helping other moms do the same.

I spend my days as a stay at home and work from home mom…it’s chaotic, exhausting and messy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! I work with an amazing team of clients, as well as manage all the daily tasks that come with owning your own business AND managing a family.

But at night, you can find me curled up on the couch with a good face mask, watching movies with my family, reading or binge listening to true crime.

I love all things pink, coffee, fall, writing, true crime and well of course, anything that involves movement and cooking.

I am a 2015 graduate of the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk) where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with an emphasis in strategic communications and a minor in business. From a young age, I have always had a passion for writing. My dream growing up? To live in New York, write for the New York Times and drive an Escalade (yes, I know that’s not very practical).

While in college, I found another passion, helping other women find their lights-up-the-room version of themselves through health, fitness and making space in their busy lives for themselves too.

My two passions lie on very different ends of the spectrum. But, somewhere along this crazy journey called life, I’ve been able to tie both of them together and live out my dream through Sassy Brunette Fitness.

Because I know exactly what you are going through.

I’ve felt lost. I’ve been uncertain in what I’m doing. I’ve hated what I saw in the mirror. I’ve tried every single diet out there in hopes that maybe this time it would stick. And I’ve felt like no matter what I do, nothing works.

I can even remember days where I’d stare in the mirror wondering if I could ever change the way I felt, my body or the way I saw myself.

Sound familiar? Girl, I get it. I’ve been there!

But I want you to know, you don’t have to be stuck there. There IS light at the end of the tunnel for YOU too.

My journey has had many different seasons.

I’ve lost 40 pounds for my wedding. I’ve been through reverse diets and bulks. I’ve been a bodybuilder. I tried my hand at powerlifting. I’ve navigated fitness through pregnancy, I’ve been a beginner again through each postpartum journey…

And I’ve learned to truly build a healthy, balanced lifestyle I love, I feel GOOD about, I can follow through on and has led to consistent progress time and time again even through the chaos that is motherhood.

Here’s the good news for you too, YOU can do the same.

YOU deserve to have the dream body and dream life you’ve been craving post babies and momma, it is within YOUR reach.

Because life isn’t about being a slave to restrictive diets and workouts that take way too long or those programs that are TOTALLY bananas with all of their rules.

If you’re anything like me, you don’t have the time or energy to spend a whole hour working out every.single.day AND make all your food from scratch.

I’m already exhausted as is, so adding a ton of extra work onto my plate is a hard NO.

And THAT is why I decided to design programs that *actually* work for busy moms.

And guess what?

At this point, I have helped HUNDREDS of moms lose weight + keep it off while doing LESS instead of MORE! 🎉

One more thing before you go: I want you to know I understand where you are because I was there. I know what it’s like to look in the mirror and not recognize the reflection staring back.
